island is home to 3,312 people (2003). Avalon is its only city. Tourists
can take boats or helicopters to the island. Tourism is the island's only
industry. During the summer, the population can increase to over
10,000 people on a busy Saturday night.
Avalon. The white Yacht Club is built over the water. The Casino (red
roof) was an entertainment center with a movie theater and a large room
